About ESEM:

ESEM is a non-profit foundation which focuses on the education in the field of biomedical engineering in Europe. ESEM stands for:

"Educating Students in Engineering and Medicine"

Our vision is simple: Create a better future through optimal education for students in Engineering and Medicine in Europe and beyond.

An European approach in education in the field of biomedical engineering will prepare students for a European future.

Students should be trained in all fields of BME. In addition, they should acquire knowledge of other cultures, languages, habits, training; this should be realized:

• via summer schools for Bachelor students
• via a European Master’s for master-students
• via a common training programme for PhD-students
• networking and exchange of ideas across Europe
